LA’s 1Minute Monologue Contest is celebrating its 13th year this January 2020. That's 12 straight years of sell-out success. What's really cool about 1Minute is that it's designed to give actors a venue to present and showcase their talent in front of teams of industry professionals in 60 to 90 seconds. 

 

HISTORY

LA's 1Minute Monologue Contest was launched in 2006 by Coach Clay Banks to give actors another opportunity to sharpen their skills and to be seen.  1Minute has successfully sold out each and every year since. In 2017 1Minute became an International Micro Film Festival and accepted submissions from all over the world.
